Dr. Elms is board‑certified in hematology, medical oncology, and internal medicine, and is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology. His clinical interests include genitourinary cancers, multiple myeloma, and addressing healthcare disparities in cancer care. He is committed to providing compassionate, patient‑centered care that incorporates the latest advances in cancer treatment.
At the Niles clinic, Dr. Elms serves as clinic director, physician research lead, and director of radioligand therapies. Originally from Oklahoma, he completed his medical residency and fellowship training at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Elms and his husband enjoy exploring Chicago’s vibrant cultural scene, including the performing arts, world‑class dining, and sports. An avid traveler, Dr. Elms enjoys learning about different cultures, practicing conversational Spanish, and appreciating the diversity of people around the world. He is also a proud uncle to Tucker and Ellie Jo, who live in Florida with his family.
